About the Role:
We have a great opportunity for a Land Surveyor with Cadastral, Topographic and Engineering Surveying experience to join our team.
Key areas of responsibility include…
- Undertake field surveys for cadastral works, topographic surveys and engineering detail surveys.
- Direct and co-ordinate on site works.
- Provide on job training and support to survey assistants.
- Liaise with clients and determine the specific scope of works required in order for the satisfactory completion of a job.
- Maintain a vehicle and all equipment supplied.
- Work to time lines as driven by the client and ensure deadlines are met.
About you:
To succeed in this position you will have the following:
- An undergraduate degree in surveying or an equivalent level of work experience (2+ years).
- Basic knowledge of Re-establishment theory and practice.
- Understanding of and ability to work within a Quality Assured office
- Ability to work within a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work without supervision and to manage time and work proficiently.

JCA Land Consultants are a prominent, well-established Surveying and Engineering Consultancy with a Regional Office in Wodonga since February 2020. We are hiring to meet the needs of our expanding Wodonga Engineering Team and are seeking applications for a Civil Design Engineer with experience.

The successful applicant will be required to perform design, documentation and construction review activities for a variety of projects typically related to Residential, Industrial and Commercial developments, Residential Body Corporate developments, Local Government Infrastructure, Department of Transport Main Roads Intersections and Water Authority assets.
We have future requirement for a Construction Engineer role involving site inspection and review to certify construction works. While this component will not initially fill a full-time role, Engineers experienced in Construction willing to learn Civil Design skills will be considered favourably. Applicants with suitable qualifications and Construction Related experience desiring part-time or casual work will also be considered.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent industry standard).
- Experienced of 12D (preferred) and AutoCAD design software.
- Experienced / Knowledgeable in the standards adopted by the various Councils, Retail Water Authorities, North-East Water and Department of Transport.
- Experience in Construction and requirements to meet Authority Standards.
- Understanding of and ability to work within a Quality Assured office.
- Ability to work within a team and communicate clearly and effectively.

JCA Land Consultants is looking to employ 3 graduates from those finishing their Civil Engineering Degree in late 2022. 3rd & 4th Year Students required to complete industry based experience next year as part of their course will also be considered.
Our Graduate Program includes:

- Residential and Industrial subdivisions,
- VicRoads main roads intersection treatments,
- Residential townhouse developments,

The position will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to work on all components of the project (primarily Road & Drainage works, Sewer reticulation, Water supply, Stormwater Detention & treatment provisions, Main Drainage, etc.) with the responsibility of seeing projects through from inception to completion.
About you:
To succeed in this position you will have a degree (or study) in Civil Engineering with an interest in the design of Civil Projects with the following:
