Dobson Street Reserve Upgrade
JCA provided civil engineering design services for the proposed reserve development works in Dobson Street Reserve in Ferntree Gully, Victoria.
JCA provided Civil Engineering Design Consultancy Service for this project which included, attending a council information sharing workshop, stormwater report for council, concept design and final concept design development, as well as detailed design and technical documentation.
For this project, there were several constraints from council that we needed to overcome and design around, whilst working with the client to achieve their vision.
JCA undertook a feasibility study for the options to upgrade the catchment, liaised with several stakeholders and external consultants, reviewed layouts of above and underground storage areas, and associated drainage works, including placement of playground and landscaping areas.
The outcome was successful, and the client was able to achieve all their design goals and council requirements were met.
